My Sensilift Experience: taking my beauty regime to new heights during lockdown

As a self-confessed skincare and beauty junky, in normal times I regularly visit a facialist to give my skin that added boost. As you can imagine, finding ways to mimic my facialist’s magic hands has been a big priority for me during lockdown.

I know I’m not alone in this. Instead of entirely foregoing your monthly, or for some even weekly facials, an alternative approach is to tap into the world of technology  and administer some ‘at-home beauty’. This is not purely to experience the transformative power of self-care, but is my personal recommendation for maintaining that youthful glow – certainly something I always prided myself  on before lockdown hit.

Whilst we are all cocooning at home, there is no better time than the present to learn how to give your own face that VIP treatment but it is a total minefield  when it comes to taking beauty into your own hands and discovering a device that truly does lift, sculpt and give an overall more youthful complexion.

Now you might find it totally bizarre that as a 26 year old female I would even consider using an anti-ageing device. However, years of beauty research tells me that starting early with an anti-ageing regime greatly reduces the likelihood of wrinkles and lines in later years. and it’s perfectly logical.

I have been searching for a device that delivers the elements of a facial that I just love. That relaxing, soothing feeling of a facial massage, the comfort from having a warm temperature on the skin and the transformative smart technology that gives you that instant facelift feeling. I was keen to trial the offering from award- winning  brand Sensica which has a wide range of at home beauty devices.  In particular I was excited to try the Sensilift device which besides looking great with it’s gorgeous rose gold exterior, promises to deliver real results, claiming to be an “innovative,  anti-ageing device that boosts collagen production to reduce wrinkles, and lift and tighten your skin”.   I’ve been using the device for the last 8 weeks for just a few minutes in the morning and before I go to sleep. My face feels more defined and I can honestly say I’ve seen noticeable results, not to mention the process is immensely relaxing.

This clever device works to enhance the existing collagen around crow’s feet, jawline, forehead, smile folds, cheeks, décolletage and hands. It works it’s magic in two stages:

Firstly, Dynamic Radio Frequency (DRF) Technology – the dual acting massage and RF therapies stimulate circulation while allowing the RF waves to travel deeper into the skin where the collagen forms. Unlike typical RF technology for home use, which is limited to a specific area, DRF’s unique facial massaging action has been proven to enable multiple RF wavelengths to penetrate different skin layers simultaneously, to create a more intense, more effective treatment.

Using Smart Temperature Control the built in sensors continuously adjust the temperature to ensure maximum safety and comfort  and from my experience of the device it warms and softens the skin.

Admittedly I have neither crow’s feet nor very obvious lines at this stage in my life, but if like me you are prone to dark circles, puffiness and water retention, dehydration lines or skin that looks dull and lack lustre then believe me when I say  the Sensilift will answer your prayers and make you question how you lived without it.
